Stay and U-Fly scenic flight over Lake Wanaka
Stay 2 nights at Maple Lodge and take a 20 minute scenic flight over Lake Wanaka where you get the chance to fly the plane yourself under the guidance of a professional pilot if you wish. Once you have taken off the flight will take you over Lake Wanaka towards Mount Aspiring world heritage park to Glendhu Bay, past Mau Tapu Island, returning via Mount Iron and the Clutha river. On your journey take in the beautiful Snow topped peak of Mount Aspiring and the vastness of Lake Wanaka.
