Terms, Conditions & Cancellation Policies – Exclusive Use
All reservations are subject to availability.
You may not hold any event at the lodge during your stay (eg wedding, party etc) without the written consent of Maple Lodge.
The lodge, its grounds and facilities are only available to the residing guests.
Payment is preferred by direct bank transfer to our account (details supplied on invoice). If you are transferring from an overseas account you should add the cost of any banking charges to your payment.
A deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking.
The balance is payable 90 days prior to your arrival date.
Reservations made within 90 days of arrival will be charged in full at time of booking.
Guests are recommended to have adequate travel insurance to cover any cancellation charges.
If you cancel your reservation more than 90 days prior to your arrival date the deposit is refundable.
If you cancel your reservation 90 days or less prior to your arrival date 100% of the total booking will be charged to the credit card supplied.
We are a small establishment and as such cancellations affect us greatly.
If we are able to resell the entire booking then we will refund the cost of the booking
We prefer direct transfer into our bank account (details on request) for payment. A 3.5% surcharge applies to payments made by Visa or MasterCard.
Refunds will only be made to the original bank account or credit card used to make the booking.
Children are accepted as part of an exclusive use booking and are included in the maximum occupancies given for any room and/or the entire lodge.

Check out
Check out is by 10am on your departure day.

Linen and towels are included and are changed once per 7 day stay.

Kitchen (optional)
If you have chosen the self-catering option the kitchen will be available for you to use during your stay and is left in a clean and tidy manner on departure.  Where breakfast is included we will use the kitchen to prepare your breakfast and serve it in the guest dining area. We will clean and tidy the kitchen after breakfast ready for your use. You will need to leave the kitchen cleaned and tidy so that we may prepare breakfast for you next morning.
An allowance of 100Kw of power per day is included. Usage above this is charged at 50c per Kw used thereafter.

The people (or company) hiring Maple Lodge will be responsible and shall forthwith pay to Maple Lodge the cost of rectification of any damages and any consequential losses. This is inclusive of, but not limited to all damage to glassware and crockery, flooring, furniture, furnishings, ornaments, fittings, etc of any internal or external part of the property.

A valid credit card is required as a bond for any additional charges or damage.
Internet use is included.
Maple Lodge is a non-smoking establishment. Guests may only smoke outside.
Guest pets are not allowed.
